Hey world!

My name is Emma McJessy and I have a serious love for all things film and television. I am a recent graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where I received a Bachelor in Fine Arts for 3D animation, in hopes that someday I will get to take part in the movie magic.

Before I began chasing my dreams of film, fine art was my home. My understanding of color, composition, and a range of mediums provide me with a strong foundation for the art I create today. However, my love for characters and their stories draws me in everytime. A portal in the back of a wardrobe I just can’t turn away from.

While I have an interest in animation, look development, and compositing, especially with Nuke, I have a strong knowledge of the entire pipeline, thanks to the generalist curriculum at Pratt. I am a fast and eager learner, that is excited to make new connections, and use my skills to create something to inspire wonder into the next person out there, who is waiting to be sucked in just like I was
