Project Sisyphus was my thesis project (aka. my capstone) which I worked on over three semesters, from January, 2023 to May 2024. The project was inspired by the story of the Mars Opportunity Rover, specifically the infamous translation of the rovers final words "My battery is low and it's getting dark". My story follows "Sisy" (short for Sisyphus), a space rover, who is sent to mars to complete a mission. Over the course of the film, Sisy struggles to complete his unending task, while longing for a different life under the stars.
